This year, we are delighted to support both The Mary Barron Suite at Colchester Hospital and Look Good…Feel Better.

The Mary Barron Suite undertakes chemotherapy treatment for all cancer patients. They are currently undergoing refurbishment at a cost of approximately £25,000 to include total replacement of their kitchen facilities, new flooring and re-painting of walls.

Look Good…Feel Better helps support women with cancer. It offers free make-up workshops through a network of over 50 hospital including Essex County Hospital, Colchester. After the shock of being diagnosed with cancer, many women are devastated by the distressing side-effects of their treatment – loss of hair, eyebrows and eyelashes can be particularly difficult to cope with.
